great parks and attractions within easy reach

staying here was a fantastic experience because we were just a short drive from the Holiday Mountain Ski and Fun Park and the nearby Walmart Supercenter made it super easy to grab essentials, making our family weekend strolls very convenient.

We checked in early and got to hit the indoor waterpark right away, which totally made our day! The only downside was the long wait for dinner, so I'd recommend making reservations in advance. 😊

Room was super clean and quiet, featuring air conditioning, a kitchenette with a microwave and refrigerator, and a cozy seating area. The waterpark had tons of fun slides and activities with no lines! Bixby's offered amazing gourmet meals. Free arcade points were a nice bonus for the kids. Great family bonding activities like outdoor fire pits.

The water park at Kartrite was a blast for the kids, with plenty of slides and fun areas to splash around. We enjoyed the family activities offered nearby, especially the hiking trails. The front desk staff, particularly Anthony, made check-in smooth and welcoming. However, the room had issues like a cold temperature without heating options. There were only a couple of towels for our family of three, which felt inadequate. The coffee provided in the room tasted terrible, and some toiletries were empty when we arrived. Dining options were limited during our stay, and one restaurant was closed for lunch, forcing us to wait longer for meals. The noise level at night was higher than I expected, making sleep a challenge. Overall, the fun water park made it worth it, but the room comfort needs significant improvement.

We had an amazing time at the indoor waterpark! The kids loved the variety of slides and activities available, especially the lazy river that meanders through lush jungle scenery. Plus, the arcade was a hit, converting our gameplay into some awesome prizes for everyone.

In my wife’s opinion, the dining options were quite disappointing. Only one restaurant with a limited menu and high prices made mealtime frustrating with a baby in tow. A more family-friendly dining experience would have been great.

Family fun but pricey

The water park was great for the kids, lots of slides and pools that kept them busy for hours. I especially liked the heated indoor/outdoor pool, perfect for relaxing while the kids let loose.

It wasn’t cheap but it was still acceptable for what we got.

It was just a proper fit for a short interlude in Monticello, great for the money. The kids really enjoyed the waterpark, which kept them entertained all day. Make sure to plan your meals ahead because dining options close early.

The King Suite was spacious, providing a comfortable stay. The indoor waterpark was enjoyable, though it could have been more organized. The garden view added a nice touch to the overall atmosphere, making it more relaxing during our time there.

The bar in the waterpark felt disorganized and took forever to get served. Also, I hit a brick wall trying to snag lunch at Bixby—reservation-only, but the place was barely half-full. They really need to get their restaurant game together!
